If you are trying to figure out where to eat in Hartwell tonight, here is the straight answer for our place. When we are open, how long the kitchen runs, and what the evening looks like once you sit down.

We are 329 Bar & Grill, on the square at 126 W Franklin St. We serve dinner Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 4:00pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday. If that is all you needed, you are done reading, and we will see you tonight.

Our Hours in Plain English

Those are the real hours. If a listing site or a map app shows us open until 9:30 on a Friday, that is old information sitting on somebody else’s website. Nine o’clock is when we close on a Friday and a Saturday.

We are also not open at lunch, and we do not do brunch. Four in the afternoon is the earliest we serve anybody, every day we are open.

What Closed Sunday and Monday Means for You

Two days a week we are dark, and they are the two days people most often get caught out by.

Sunday is the one that stings. A weekend winds down, everybody is tired and hungry and nobody wants to cook, and we are closed. Holiday weekends do not change it. If your plans run into Sunday, build them around us.

Monday catches fewer people out, but the answer is the same. Come Tuesday, we are back.

What the Kitchen Does

Every steak on our menu is hand-cut here in our own kitchen, and the sauces are made here too. There are real chefs in this kitchen, tasting and critiquing, making sure the food is the star of the show.

Which Nights Carry the Specials

Tuesday through Thursday is the calmer run, and it is where most of our weekly specials sit. A weeknight here is a real night out.

We do not have a wall of tables. If you are bringing a big group on a weekend, call ahead and talk to us first.

What Is On Which Night

Tuesday is Martini Tuesdays. Any Martini made with Svedka Vodka is $9. Tuesday also carries half off appetizers with any alcohol beverage.

Wednesday is Pasta & Pour, and the Parmesan Crusted Shrimp Pasta is on it.

Thursday is the Shrimp Boil, and it is Ladies Night the same evening.

Friday and Saturday run on the full menu.

If It Is Your First Time

A few things worth knowing before you come.

We are a sit-down dinner house. Give the evening some room.

The seafood surprises people. Pecan Crusted Rainbow Trout, Honey Lime Glazed Salmon, Louisiana Fish & Shrimp.

The sauces are made here. Nothing comes out of a jar.

And if something is not right at your table, say so while you are still sitting at it.

The Dining Room and the Bar Side

There are two rooms at one address and they make for different evenings.

The dining room is for everybody, families included. The bar side is 21 and up, a full bar with craft cocktails, working out of the same kitchen. If the bar side is what you are after, the bar page shows you the room.

If You Would Rather Eat at Home

Our ordering page takes takeout orders. You place the order and come pick it up. There is no delivery and no curbside service.
